Ortak manufactures its own (mainly silver jewellery) designs and extends its production service to other jewellers. Ortak’s own range of Scottish-inspired jewellery is retailed online and through a network of UK-wide stockists.
Lionsorbet has been working with Ortak for a number of years. The relationship started with the design of a retail Shopify eCommerce website and most recently continued with the build of a B2B website, also on the Shopify platform. Simultaneously the consumer websites within their business portfolio have also been refreshed and modernised to provide consistency and optimise website performance.

Retail Jewellery
Ortak’s own jewellery designs have a strong Celtic influence, principally manufactured in silver with the azure blue oceans reflected in enamelling.
A recent collection, Maeshowe, is inspired by a World Heritage neolithic site. The designs reference the alignment marker showing the Sun’s pathway during Winter Solstice, the Barnhouse Stone and the ring engraved with 12 points to represent 12 months.
Shopify eCommerce for Jewellery Trade & Wholesale
The new website designs have unified branding and aesthetics across the Ortak portfolio of businesses. Stockists now have access to a fully automated on-line stock ordering process, improving operations for both them and our client. With Shopify eCommerce utilised for both retail and trade websites product updates across both businesses can be easily managed through the in-built product export / inport processes.
